03**Date: 30/09/2025**Special Security Arrangements in BLW on Vijayadashami: All Entry Gates of BLW to Remain Closed*As per the directives of the District Administration, special security arrangements will be implemented in the premises of Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) on the occasion of Vijayadashami on 2nd October 2025. During this period, all entry gates of BLW—namely Karkarmatta Main Gate, FCI Gate, Nathupur Gate, Pahari Gate, and Kandwa Gate—will remain closed from 10:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the “Ravana putla dahan.” During this time, railway employees will be allowed entry into the BLW premises only after showing their identity cards, and general visitors will be permitted only upon presenting their passes for the Ramleela (Ravana putla dahan) event.It is noteworthy that this decision has been taken in accordance with the District Administration’s directives to ensure crowd management, public safety, and prevention of untoward incidents.
